thank you for the music

If the movie, "Across the Universe" was produced in dedication to the Beatles, recently I just found out that the movie Mamma Mia was also produced for a certain band from the past, the Abba! haha. Anyways, I got stuck at home for the entire Saturday, so I just had to collect a bunch of movies which I haven't watched yet!

I woke up around 11:30 am, then slept again :P And when I woke up, they told me not to go out because they'd be picking up mom from the airport and I had to watch out for our house. Finally, 4 o'clock came and I was suppose to ask permission for them to allow me to go out when our housemaid told my mom that the kid who got into an accident last Wednesday, already died :( (i'll tell the story later), so they told me that we had to go to the wake and that gave me the idea to go back to my room and get more stuck.

Back to the movie Mamma Mia! Honestly, the story wasn't really that great but when I realized that it was a musical, I got interested. And hell, they've featured GREAT singers on the movie. They've got great voices! Ma-appreciate mo talaga ang songs ng Abba through them. Weeee. Their renditions on the songs The Winner Takes it All, I Have a Dream, Thank you for the Music, Dancing Queen and of course, Mamma Mia, were all wonderful. And for the past few hours, I've been singing the song Thank You for the Music over and over again! I sang it after I heard it in the movie, then when I took a bath, when I was dressing up, surfing the net and until now, it's still playing in my playlist! Haha. Just kidding!:D

And as for the kid, here's the story:
I went home last Wednesday and I arrived in our house at around 6:30 or 7 (i couldn't really remember). Anyhow, as I reached at our 'kanto', I saw our housemaid walking and I caught up with her and asked her where she has been and eventually, she was making chismis at the recent accident that happened just a few minutes before I got down from the jeepney. There was this kid daw that our family knew because his mom helps us whenever there are gatherings, parties or whatsoever. Anyway, since the mom of the kid couldn't fetch him from school, the kid went home by himself na lang. Then upon riding the jeepney, the kid wanted to play more computer pa, so he attempted to get down from the vehicle and while the driver thought that all of his passengers were all set, he immediately accelerated, not knowing that the kid was on his escape move. So there, the kid fell with head first on the ground and right then and there, the kid got unconscious and he was rushed to the hospital immediately. I think it was just this morning that our housemaid, as echusera as she is, told my mom that blood was already being secreted from the kid's ear and the kid has been in the ICU since he got there so yeah, brain damage, most probably. Then just this 4:30, our housemaid told me that the kid already died at the age of 8 :(

That's it. 'twas really tragic :( May God bless that kid's soul. Let's pray for that little kid guys. Thanks so much!
