Though I'm in the middle of this idiosyncrasy shyetness, I still managed to post a blog about how my good 'ol Tuesday went.

Renz and I planned to go to school at 1pm. Eventually, I arrived late and still managed to drop by the LRC to renew a two-week overdue book which I have no plans of reading till Thursday night.

Upon reaching LRC, I thought I saw Kuya Bryan, which made me super dooper happy for a while and yet, it was only RR, so I was kind-a hysterical to see not-Kuya Bryan (now, Kuya Bry has a lot of negations pala..haha)

Anyway, I had reached CSM and started studying.

Renz and I went out to buy 10 pieces of yellow paper and we caught Sir Jong who kept on screaming CRUMB to get my attention. He then told me to tell my CHEM 17 classmates about the posted note at the entrance of the CSM building. He was also discussing about selling the answers to the exam for 5 pesos each. Woah. That would cost a lot. Haha!

We started studying again (unbelievably, we studied).

While discussing/debating about how to write functional groups with Mark, something amazingly happened to our ballpens - they became FRIENDS!

I feel so amazed with chlorophyll a right now! It's structural molecule looks so wonderful. And one more thing to be proud of, I can explain it's structure!:D

1. chlorophyll a is a metal ion complex wherein the metal ion is Magnesium(II) [mag-neez-yum: accdg. to sir albert]

2. the magnesium(II) is bounded to four nitrogen atoms in the porphyrine ring.

3. as you may have noticed, most probably on a 2-dimensional plane, the poryphrine ring has alternating conjugate double bonds. this conjugate double bond then surfaces the color of chlorophyll a which is GREEN.

cool huh?!

Study....

I have been studying for about a couple of days now and I must say that I learned a lot of new interesting things already.

1. I can now explain on how mathematics originated, including the people responsible behind it. Funny thing about my review on the Fundamentals and Foundations of Mathematics was that I kept of refering to mathematicians as scientists (weeee! bio na ko :P ) But until now, I still couldn't get the logic behind on how the algbraic system liberalized.

2. There is something different between the Special Theory of Relativity and the General Theory of Relativity!!! Cool! and our MST 1 lessons are interrelated with our CHEM!

3. Speaking of chem, I was really mesmerized to know that the type of bonding (position/shape/orbital hybridization/etc.) could depend on what the color of the meta..cool!

4. Organic chem. I now know how to identify functional groups. But as for the moment, I still have to memorize the different functional groups. I have 11 with me here. How about you renz?:)

it's 2:32 am, friday, march 14, 2008.. and i'm getting really nervous about lots of stuff. 1. chem lab long quiz on qualitative analysis and 2. chem lec reporting.

kanina pa ako study ng study about QA but how do you really study this? pede memorize lang ang color and precipitating agent then just guess the unknown? haha:D i really don't know how to study/review this thing. but all i could remember was that when we were having our prelab..sir alberto just discussed the ppt agent for the different groups of cations then the color of the cation after the indicator was added.

another thing, radiocarbon dating is chem diba? i mean, i got the article from chemisrytimes.com and it was all about carbon and isotopes but my article was more on the application..tas i've read that radiocarbon dating has a lot of applications such as forensics of whatever..but my point is, chemistry man ang radiocarbon dating diba?

haaaay..goodness!

kill me now..then bring me to life when march ends..haha:D

OMG! Ang dami kong kelangan i-drawing! Good thing I have a copy of the Gross Anatomy of a Frog or else I'm gonna die. So all I have to worry about is the Gross Anatomy of the Cockroach. Another good thing also was that only Exer 1 - 7 or 8 only have prepared slides needed to be drawn.

Wala man lang kaming post-lab discussion from Sir Albert!!! How are we suppose to know the correct and more accurate answers to our lab reports? Sir Albert naman talaga! Pero good thing about him was that he gave a 90+ percent grade on my lab reports at may perfect pa!:D

Mam Mayang wanted us to present something about what we learned on Math 1 and our group which consisted of five BSB students and 1 BSAM student decided to create a video clip out of our presentation because we do not have the guts to feel humiliated in front of our classmates if ever we would present to them live. Basically right now, I am in the middle of editing our videos for our presentation this Thursday.
